||Cameroon is a country in West Africa which has borders with six other countries including Nigeria, Chad and Congo, as well as a coastline on the Bight of Bonny. Visitors to Cameroon will find a country which is both culturally and naturally diverse.
Although Cameroon’s capital city is Yaounde, many international flights to Cameroon actually land in the coastal city of Douala (airport code: DLA), the largest city in cameroon. There are several airlines who offer flights from South Africa to Cameroon, some more sensible than others, though there do not appear to be any direct flights. The most sensible routes from Johannesburg are with the following airlines: Ethiopian Airlines and South African Airways, who have one stop flights via Addis Ababa. An alternative is a route using British Airways to Harare, then Kenya Airways to Nairobi, and another Kenya Airways flight to Douala.
If you prefer to travel to the capital city, Yaounde (airport code: NSI), you can do so on several airlines, including South African Airways, Air France, British Airways, Lufthansa and Kenya Airways, though these all involve one or two connections.
